The Business Times reported on 1 September 2019 that SingHaiyi sold 324 Parc Clematis homes from 465 released on launch day, 31 August. The reported average price was S$1,580 psf.
Understanding the release result
The reported count represents approximately 69.7% of the released units. It does not establish the fraction of the whole development sold unless the total stock is stated separately. The archive uses the verified release denominator and does not expand the claim.
An average price describes the homes bought at that stage. A different type mix or floor mix could produce a different average without every individual home being repriced. Buyers comparing launches should therefore examine actual unit examples as well as the overall figure.
From an average to a budget illustration
At a constant S$1,580 psf, 900 sq ft implies S$1.422 million and 1,200 sq ft S$1.896 million. The S$474,000 difference is the effect of 300 additional square feet in this simplified example. These amounts are not verified prices for particular Parc Clematis homes.
For a later resale enquiry, compare actual transactions and inspect the chosen layout and condition. A larger home at a lower psf can still require a greater total budget. Necessary renovation and financing costs also affect the decision.
