Reported sales outcome
Hong Leong reported 341 sales out of Penrose’s 566 homes by 5pm on 27 September 2020, or 60.3%. Balloting and bookings used Zoom during the 26–27 September launch weekend. Starting prices were S$788,000 for one-bedroom, S$943,000 for two-bedroom, S$1.33 million for three-bedroom and S$2.11 million for four-bedroom homes.
Reading the result
The reported result refers to the entire development. It leaves 225 homes outside the sold count at that point; that is not a current inventory statement. Later transactions would change the remaining stock.
A virtual sales process records how bookings were organised, not whether a home offers better value than an alternative. The buyer still needs the floor plan, price, selected floor and intended use. The format of a launch is separate from the suitability of the apartment.
The four-bedroom starting quantum adds S$780,000 to the three-bedroom entry figure. A household considering that step should assess the actual extra space and its financing capacity. Historical entry prices cannot establish current resale value. Use recent matched transactions and an inspection when assessing a completed home, and keep any claimed completion milestone tied to separate evidence.
