The original preview announcement
CDL announced a 24 March 2018 booking date for The Tapestry following previews that began on 10 March. The Tampines Street 86 development comprised 861 homes. The preview release described the project before its launch-weekend result was known.
How to assess the proposition
Opening visitor traffic and sales are different measures. A viewing may be an early comparison rather than a commitment to buy. The separate 25 March sales article records achieved take-up and the early-bird prices reported at that stage.
For a Tampines comparison, distinguish a home’s internal attributes from the surrounding town’s established services. Assess the actual journey from the apartment to work, school and routine errands. A nearby amenity on a map does not show the entrance-to-entrance route.
In a development with many homes, compare the stack’s relationship to shared pools and circulation. A family may value a particular outlook or quieter position more than the lowest entry quantum. A current resale comparison should use matched area and layout, inspect condition and account for renovation spending. The archive provides the original launch sequence, not today’s availability.
