The original preview announcement
CDL announced previews for the 716-home Whistler Grand at West Coast Vale. The project comprised two 36-storey towers. The release advertised an average selling price of S$1,380 psf and distinguished existing transport from future Jurong Region and Cross Island Line connections.

These are the announced starting figures for the stated types, not a complete unit price list. Floor, stack, layout and release phase can change the actual purchase quantum. They are historical prices, not current offers.
How to assess the proposition
The advertised one-to-two-bedroom step was S$184,000; two to three bedrooms added S$406,000. These are comparisons of starting quantum, not a price for adding one room to the same apartment. The actual floor areas and layouts matter.
For a West Coast comparison, assess the current commute separately from the long-term transformation story. A future rail connection can be relevant to a long holding period, but should not replace the transport route a household needs from move-in.
A larger development can contain materially different outlooks and positions relative to shared facilities. Check the selected stack and usable space rather than infer every home has the same appeal from the development description. A later completed-home enquiry requires an inspection and current comparable transactions.
